Youth Group is canceled for May 19th

Baptism Information - If you are planning to have a baptism before August, 2013, you are required to attend the quarterly baptism class Sunday, May 19 at noon in the Commons. Please plan ahead if you will be welcoming a baby.

The Widows and Widowers will meet Sunday, May 19, 11:30AM at the Olive Garden Restaurant, 18180 W. Blue Mound Road, Brookfield. Please call Sandy Heckler at 262- 617-3156 if you plan to come, need a ride or directions. A count is needed for priority seating so call by Saturday prior. Please join us for food and fellowship.

Schweii's Fish Fry - Fund raiser for Acts of Grace-

Kenwood campus on May 24th. --volunteers and food donations needed: VOLUNTEERS 3:30 -5:30 and 5:30-7:30.

DONATIONS: Hot dogs, Soda, milk, and many desserts!

Parent and Volunteer Forum on Youth Ministry - If you are a parent or adult interested in learning about the future of youth ministry at Grace, and helping to move us into this future, we invite you to a discussion on Youth Ministry in the narthex on June 2 at 2:30PM. Anyone else interested in helping out the youth ministry at Grace is also encouraged to attend.

Rummage Sale Spring Time! Rummage Sale! Bake Sale! Acts of Grace Rummage Sale/Bake Sale will be held on Friday, June 7 8:00AM TO 8:00PM, and Saturday, June 8, 8:00AM to noon. Donations dates are Monday June 3 – Wednesday, June 6 from 10:00AM TO 8:00PM. Needed donations include: Working electronics (no TV’s please), furniture, baby & nursery items, antiques, toys, games, holiday items, household goods, clean clothing in good repair, tools, books, puzzles and other saleable items.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is held in the summer at Grace. It is a week of God’s love expressed through Bible stories, crafts, songs and games. As the summer calendar begins to fill up, we are happy to

announce the 3rd Annual Grace Lutheran School Golf Outing to be held on Sat., September 14, at 1:30PM at Scenic View Country Club. Put it on your calendar as this year’s event should be even bigger and better than last year. More details to come. Remember to invite those outside of the Grace family to participate. Our Women's Daybreak Event will be held on Saturday, October 19th 8:30am - 4:00pm.

This year's keynote speaker is Rachel Inouye. Rachel's transparency and authenticity in her relationship with Christ makes an impact on the lives around her. She is a gifted communicator with great ability to articulate and apply God’s word in everyday language for everyday situations through stories and scripture. She desires to encourage women in their relationship with God.

Rachel will be speaking on Words, Words, Words. We spend money on lipstick, toothpaste, and breath freshener. Ever consider the importance of what comes out of the mouth? Some words need to be silenced, some spread around, and the WORD of God we must soak up.

We will also have inspirational breakout sessions and great music. More details to come!

"Faith & World Collide" We all live in a world where our faith and the culture and reason of the world collide. As Christians engaging the world and not shying away from it, we need to know how to apply logic and faith to everyday discussions about God, reality and eternity. Join us in the Conference Room from 9:30-10:30AM to discover more.

Play & Pray is a Christian playgroup for newborns to school-aged children and their caregiver. It gives a chance for your children to interact with other kids in a fun and safe environment. It’s also an opportunity for you to talk with other moms and make some new friends.

Play & Pray meets at various times at various locations or parks. There are also occasional MNO (Mom Night’s Out) activities for a little "you time!"

Holy Smoker's men's ministry needs you! The Holy Smokers, Grace Lutheran's men's ministry, requests more members. Through smoking meats at events in Menomonee falls and the Milwaukee area during the summer we reach out to the community. This fellowship opportunity only takes a few hours on the weekend.
