Mrs. Laabs is serving as Grace Lutheran School Principal, as well as mentor to new teachers. She is also the coordinator for the Jump Rope for Heart Event, and serves on many committees. She enjoys being part of the leadership team and feels blessed by God for the many years of teaching she has been able to share.

Mrs. Laabs truly treasures the opportunity she has to share her faith and love for the Lord. Psalm 25:4-5 asks God to teach us his ways and to guide us in his truth. Her desire is to teach in such a way that God becomes a guide for the children she teaches.

    Mrs. Winkelmann teaches our Tuesday/Thursday 3-year old preschool class. She loves working with young children and helping them grow and develop into wonderful little people. She finds amazing joy in sharing the love of Jesus with such loving, eager little hearts!

    Mrs. Winkelmann's first three years at Grace were as our first grade teacher. She is currently working on her master’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

    Mrs. Winkelmann lives in Menomonee Falls with her husband PJ, daughter Delaney, and son Carter.

    Mrs. Kellerman teaches our Monday/Wednesday/Friday 3-year old preschool class. She cherishes being a part of a child’s first school experience and helping to build a firm foundation on Jesus Christ. She finds no greater joy than hearing young children share their love for Jesus.

    Mrs. Kellerman taught 2 years at Beautiful Savior Lutheran School in Waukesha before taking a year off to be with her daughter. She has been at Grace since 2010.

    Mrs. Strehlow teaches both the morning and afternoon sessions of our 4-year old program. She is also on the chapel committee at school.

    She has a joy for learning that she wants to pass on to each student she interacts with. Mrs. Strehlow desires to show children how to love learning, love their Lord, and enjoy coming to school everyday.

    Mrs. Knuppenburg teaches our all-day Kindergarten class. She became involved in Christian education because she wanted to share the love of Jesus with young children. It is her personal goal to "create a strong foundation of faith and learning in a creative, playful environment."

    Mrs. Schneider graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2008 with degrees in both Early Childhood Education and Art Education. She is licensed to teach grades Pre-K through grade 12. Art is a passion of hers, and she loves having the privilege of helping young children learn and grow. Teaching is a natural fit for her and she enjoys seeing the love of Jesus shine through the young children she interacts with at Grace. This is why she does what she does. Grace is not only her work place but church home to herself and husband Pete, and their daughters Nora and Daphne.

    Mrs. Scott has been teaching since 2003. She received her BA in elementary education from Concordia University in Ann Arbor and then completed her Masters Degree in Early Childhood through Concordia University-Seward, NE.

    Mrs. Scott feels that teaching is a way by which the students and teacher interact in order "to learn and grow together as they follow the path God lays before them." She believes that being a Christian educator allows her the opportunity to watch children develop their faith.

    Mrs. Parker earned her Elementary Education degree from Carroll College and teaches our 3rd graders. As a teacher, she aims to craft an experience through which children will grow in their faith and respect for all of God’s creation.

    Mrs. Parker has served our Lord at Grace in many capacities over the past several years. Currently she serves as our Assistant Principal and co-advisor to our Student Council. She considers it a privilege and blessing to see children grow and change in so many ways.

    Mrs. Culli partners with Mrs. Parker, our third grade teacher, to teach math and reading to the third grade class. She also teaches Rosetta Stone, our foreign language program, to grades one through eight. Mrs.Culli is gifted in music and teaches some of our music classes. Mrs. Culli lives in Germantown and has three children in our school.

    Ms. Steffan takes pride in the opportunity to share God's Word with the young lives in her classroom. She has experience teaching in a variety of classroom settings and with different age groups. Her belief in creating a learning environment where students are nurtured and challenged spiritually and academically provides many opportunities for students to grow and develop into the person God wants them to be.

    Ms. Steffan serves as co-advisor to our Student Council and offers a strong ability to enhance learning through integration of technology.

    Mrs. Mueller has served the Lord at Grace for over 30 years, currently as 5th grade homeroom teacher and art curriculum teacher for middle school students. She also teachers our 4th graders how to play the recorder.

    Mrs. Mueller’s goal is "to nurture and help each student grow in their faith-walk with Jesus, to encourage each student to become a life-long learner, and to enhance students’ exploration and discovery of the wonderful world God has created." She enjoys watching students grow and mature in all facets of their lives.

  • 6th Grade - Joy Yurk

    Mrs. Yurk teaches 6th grade, as well as grammar, communication, reading and writing skills for middle school students.

    Because God’s gift of language is used daily in communicating with others, she prepares students for higher education and the workplace, as well as for communicating their faith.

    She became a Christian educator out of a desire to see young people empowered "with the tools to think critically, express themselves clearly, and learn continually."

  • 7th Grade - Amanda Rosenberg

    Mrs. Rosenberg is the upper grade social studies teacher, seventh grade math teacher and also teaches physical education to the upper grades. Mrs. Rosenberg assists in our extracurricular activities by co-supervsing student council and coaching our softball and track programs.

    She is a graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School and the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay. Mrs. Rosenberg is married and lives in Germantown

    Mrs. Flynn’s ministry responsibilities include promoting the love of Jesus Christ to students and families. She teaches the science curriculum for the middle school, as well as Algebra and 8th grade math. Mrs. Flynn also teaches the technology curriculum to many of the K5 through 8th grade classes.

    Whether teaching in the classroom or overseeing the technology around Grace, Mrs. Flynn strives to provide a hands on learning environment for all her students. These hands on experiences come through the use of laptops and SMARTBoards or through the use of science labs and projects. Getting students to participate in an active Christian environment is one of Mrs. Flynn's favorite ways to encourage her students to learn.

  • Reading Specialist - Cheryl Eggold

    Mrs. Eggold earned her teaching degree with a coaching minor at Concordia University, Wisconsin. She has taught in Lutheran schools for 20 years. At Grace she is our Reading Specialist who also supervises our Accelerated Reading Program and school library. She teaches science to some of the primary classes and also health classes in the upper grades.

    She works with students to strengthen them as young readers, from learning the letter sounds of the alphabet to comprehending a classroom novel. She also works with students who need to strengthen their math skills and strategies. Mrs. Eggold screens all students entering our school at the 1st-8th grade level and is in constant connection with our teaching staff to aid in student help.

    Mrs. Eggold is married to Jeff, who is also actively involved in the church and school. They have 3 wonderful children attending Grace.

    Mie Neumann is the Administrative Assistant at Grace Lutheran School. Besides taking care of her normal responsibilities as the school secretary, she also takes care of the children as the school nurse. Mie has helped out and served the school for over 15 years.

    As Athletic Director, Jennifer is responsible for all 5th-8th grade athletics including football, volleyball and cross country in the fall, basketball and cheerleading in the winter, and softball and track in the spring.


    Financial Manager & Ext. Care Director - Carol Bird

    Carol Bird has been a member of the Grace Lutheran staff since she began the Extended Care Program in 2001. She took on the position of Business Manager in August of 2010 and in addition to continuing to supervise the Extended Care Program Carol helps with stewardship of school and church finances, human resources and a variety of other management and planning activities.

    Carol came to the United States from Europe in 1996, having met her husband Ken, a long time member of Grace, through work. They have 4 daughters, Katie, Melissa, Theresa and Rebecca, who all attended Grace Lutheran School. Both Carol and Ken are very involved as volunteers at Grace.

    Prior to beginning her work with Grace Church and School, Carol worked for many years in Business management, Sales and Marketing throughout England, Europe and South Africa. She received her Business Management degrees from Universities in both England and Germany, majoring in Marketing.

    Minister of Music - Bill Cahill

    Bill Cahill uses his musical talent to serve as Grace’s Minister of Music. Both church and school ensembles are headed up by Mr. Cahill. Besides conducting, scheduling, and coordinating the music for these ensembles, he also plans and evaluates the music used in Grace’s worship services. Mr. Cahill started at Grace in January of 2008.
