It is a great blessing to serve at Grace Lutheran School! I am a proud graduate of Greendale Martin Luther High School. I have worked in education since 1998 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a double major in Learning Disabilities and Emotional Disabilities. I then worked in middle schools with special education populations. I attended graduate school through Cardinal Stritch University.
Due to life circumstances, I have had a myriad of job experiences. I was a program assistant for the University Committee for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. For three years, I was a special education and adult basic education teacher for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections at an adult correctional facility in Racine, Wisconsin. Additionally, I was an account manager for Dale Carnegie.
In the education realm, I have been a regular education teacher, special education teacher, instructional coach, special education coordinator, principal, RtI coordinator, and director of instruction.
I have an older brother and sister. My brother is a LCMS pastor in Milwaukee. For eight years, I was a Mission U presenter for Lutheran Hour Ministries. As part of that, I helped them rewrite some of the curriculum they used.
I am an international adoption from Korea. My family all lives in the Greater Milwaukee area. I am married and have two children: Michael and Travis. We live in Pewaukee.
