I feel extremely blessed to be a part of the Grace Lutheran family as an aide in the 4th Grade classroom.  My husband, DJ, and I have been married for 14 years, and have 3 sons, who are all current students at Grace.  This school and church has been a blessing and place for wonderful growth for our children and our family as a whole.

I grew up in Colgate, Wisconsin, and attended Hartford Union High School.  In 2003, I graduated from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities with a bachelor’s degree in Biology.  Following college, I worked as a ceramist in a dental laboratory to create dental restorations for 7 years.

Once our boys began school at Grace in 2011, it has been a source of joy for me to volunteer at school in different ways- especially for special events and in the library and classroom. This interest prompted me to complete training to earn my Substitute Teacher license in 2018.  It is a privilege to serve alongside our wonderful Grace teachers and to watch the students grow and learn all about God’s love on a daily basis.

Our family enjoys participating in the Grace Lutheran Ski Club, and I am proud to be a part of the Grace Cross Country Team as an assistant coach. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, spending time outside, being on the water up north, and cheering on our boys in soccer, baseball, basketball, cross country, and football.
