What to Expect

We know that visiting a new church can sometimes feel intimidating. But whether you are 20 or 70, single or married, a family with young children or grown children, we have something for everyone.

Grace is a are a family, growing in Christ, reaching out in love. You can learn more about what we believe or hear directly from our members' perspective.

Here are answers to a few questions that should help make your first visit as easy and comfortable as possible.

When should I arrive?

Traditional Worship: Sunday 8:00AM

Rejoice (contemporary) Worship: Saturday 5:00PM , Sunday 9:30AM

Relationships are foundational here, so we recommend coming 10 minutes before the start of service in order to get to know others over a cup of coffee. Services typically last 60 minutes. Many stay after worship for additional fellowship and perhaps to grab a muffin (or two). We understand that people are very busy, but we also greatly desire to spend time in worship, in the Word, in ministry, and in fellowship.

You can click here to access a Google map of the area and get directions from your departing location.

Our greeters will open the door for you on the lefthand side of the building. You can place your coat on the hooks to the left before entering the sanctuary straight ahead.

What happens on a Sunday?

During our gatherings, you can expect a fresh, authentic and spiritual experience with sermons straight from the Bible that you can apply to your life. We will hear directly from the scriptures, sing and pray together, and have an opportunity to worship through tithes and offerings.

What do you do for kids?

We care about our kids at Grace. We offer a dynamic Sunday School which runs from September through May. Check out our Student Ministries Page for more information. JAM (Jesus and Me) is for 3K-2nd Grade; Thrive is for 3rd-5th Grade. Both JAM and Thrive occur during the sermons at the Sunday 9:30AM Rejoice Worship. Additionally, the nursery is staffed by loving adults during the Sunday 9:30AM Rejoice Worship. The nursery is open but not staffed during all other services.

What should I wear?

We are a "come as you are" crowd so you can see everything from suits to jeans. Don't stress about what to wear - we are just happy to have you.

We provide a variety of music depending on the service style, liturgy and season. Our musical directors provide full, spiritual music on our organ for our Traditional Worship and modern, uplifting music with our Praise Band for our Rejoice  (contemporary) Worship. Additionally, we have special performances by soloists, adult & youth choirs, and instrumentalists. There are also brass, flute, and handbell music ensembles that play music for our worship services regularly.

What if I'm not so sure about Christianity?

Great! That's why we started this church. Come and experience how God can transform your life.

Can I attend if ______?

Fill in the blank with any insecurity, personal history, etc. and know that Grace is a place for all different ages and walks of life. It's okay to not be okay--God loves you no matter what, and we do too!

We would be honored if you share an hour with us this weekend!

It's hard to get to know a church based only on its website. Feel free to reach out to us so that we can share more about our church family with you. E-mail our church office at info@grace-connect.org.
