Youth ministry will continue at Grace - it will just continue to look different. Read below for more details about our online Youth Ministry and confirmation expectations.
For the time being, the buttons below are our virtual solutions for each one of our confirmation expectations:
- Youth will be turning in all videos and documents through a specific drop box folder found with the yellow button.
- All necessary forms & resources can be found with the blue button found below.
- Each confirmation expectation has its own Drop Box link to use for submission and the submissions are confidential. Please make sure to save files with a first and last name.

Hello Ignite Parents!
I am praying for your family's continued peace and health through this difficult time. I want to encourage you to use this time as an opportunity to invest in your youth's faith development! I will do my best to set you up for success as the primary influence in your youth's faith life through encouragement and resources. Thank you in advance for your flexibility, patience, suggestions, and feedback!
Youth ministry will continue at Grace - it will just continue to look different:

Miss Christine Chats
I would love the opportunity to check in with you and see how you are doing! Whether you are a parent, youth, leader, or a whole family in our student ministry - please use this sign-up so we can find a time to connect. I am available for 30 minute timeslots from Sunday through Thursday, 2-5PM. If these times do not work for you, just let me know and we can figure something else out! I look forward to spending time with you!
Wednesday Night Youth Group At Home
Your youth can join thousands of other teenagers around the country for a time of worship and teaching at 7 PM the next few Wednesday Nights by going to YouthGroupAtHome.com. There are discussion questions to go through with your youth afterwards. You can always access the recording after the live stream - so go check out week one at the website now!
Ignite Parent Reources Google Drive
Every Sunday evening at 5:30 PM you will receive an email from me that contains all the elements of Ignite - just online. These emails will be written with the intention of you going through the elements with your youth.
I also know many of our middle school youth and parents are wondering about our confirmation expectations moving forward. For the time being, these are our virtual solutions for each one of our confirmation expectations:
It is still expected that your youth attend Ignite every week. Every Sunday evening at 5:30 PM you will receive an email that contains all the elements of Ignite - just online. These emails will be written with the intention of a parent going through the elements with your youth. Of course, this gives you the flexibility of 'hosting' Ignite whenever it is most convenient for you throughout the week. For accountability and fun, please upload a video, picture, or document (whatever shows that you engaged with the teaching!) that answers this question "What did God teach you through Ignite tonight?" to the drop box folder labeled 'Ignite Attendance'.
Your youth can still work towards their 20 sermon notes a year! You will be able to access every week's services through Grace's facebook account, youtube account, and website. The youth can then use the editable PDF here to complete the sermon note and turn it in using this link. You will need to save the PDF to your computer before you are able to edit it.
Your youth can also still work towards their 10 service hours a year! They may just have to get creative! If you have a question on if an idea would count for service hours, just ask me. Have them complete the editable PDF here and turn it in using this link. You will need to save the PDF to your computer before you are able to edit it.
To complete memory work during this time, we are asking parents to film their youth saying the memory to them. We are trusting you to have integrity! :) Once the video is filmed, just upload it to the link here. Make sure to clearly label the video with the memory work being said.
Since our youth can no longer read their faith testimonies in person, we are asking our 8th grade youth to record their testimonies. The videos will be included in our online worship services! However, if you are not comfortable with these videos being shared on Facebook and Youtube - just email Christine Young at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can turn in those videos below!
Please let me know if you have any questions!
In Christ's Peace,
Director of Student Ministry
