Anthony Sedotto was born in Queens, NY in 1997, and lived in South Huntington, NY until he was eight years old. He was baptized on September 14, 1997 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Plainview, NY. He would later move with his family to Clifton Park, NY, where he attended Shenendehowa Central School District. He and his family worshipped at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, where Anthony was mentored in the faith and encouraged into entering the ministry by his youth leader, Jonathan Belschwinder.
While attending Shenendehowa High School, Anthony started dating his now wife, Samantha Sedotto, during their junior year. He graduated high school in 2015 and pursued undergraduate studies at SUNY Albany, graduating in 2018 with his bachelor’s degree in business administration. Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, Anthony first pursued graduate studies at Wake Forest School of Law. While there, he increasingly discovered God’s call to enter the ministry, and soon found that he was being called “from the law to the gospel”. Upon recognizing his call to ministry, Anthony stopped his law school studies, and instead began studies at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis in the summer of 2020. Prior to their move to St. Louis, Anthony and Samantha married on January 10, 2020 in upstate New York.
Anthony attended Concordia Seminary, St. Louis from 2020-2024. While in Seminary, Anthony attended his RFE church at Messiah Lutheran Church in St. Louis, MO. During his third year of studies, he completed his vicarage at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Boca Raton, FL. In the spring of 2024, Anthony received his call to serve as Associate Pastor at Grace Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls, WI. He was installed on July 7, 2024 and loves shepherding his brothers and sisters in Christ as he serves here at Grace Lutheran Church.
