Brass Ensemble

The brass ensemble plays several times throughout the year for traditional and holiday services. They rehearse as needed, usually on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm.

Handbell Choir

The handbell choir rings throughout the year at various services. They rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm.

Hymn Leader

Hymn Leader

Hymn leaders lead congregational singing for every traditional service by leading the hymns and liturgies.

Worship Band

The worship band is a group of singers and instrumentalists praising the Lord at our contemporary services. The group plays at the Saturday 5:00pm and Sunday 10:00am services. They rehearse on Saturdays and Sundays the hour before the service. Due to the high skill level needed to be successful in this group, an audition is required.

Worship Support Teams

Altar Circle

The altar circle prepares the altar for communion. This includes preparing the wine and wafers, the altar paraments, maintaining candles, cleaning pastor robes, decorating for special services, and cleaning the communionware each week.

A/V (Audio/Visual) Team

This team runs the sound and video technology & screens during services. The church uses ProPresenter software which allows words and videos on the screens in worship and graphics at home for the livestream viewers. A separate group of volunteers runs the sound equipment. Other team members do the video switching required for the livestream.

Coffee Hosts

Coffee hosts prepare coffee and ensure a welcoming atmosphere in the Narthex on Sundays.

Pew Crew

The Pew Crew helps clean, organize, and restock pews after weekend worship services. When scheduled, you can serve on Sundays right after the 10am service or during weekly office hours.

Readers

Readers

Readers read the Scripture verses during contemporary services.

Usher

Ushers hold open doors, dismiss for communion, welcome all who come to worship, and answer questions that they might have.
