Our nursery is staffed for the entire Sunday 10:00am service. However, you can drop off your little one at any point during the service. Please use the labelled doorbell (to the right of the upstairs door), so a staff member can meet you at the door!

3K - 5th Grade

JAM & Thrive is our weekly children's ministry that takes place during the sermon during the 10:00am Sunday worship services. Our large group time is separated for 3K-5K, 1st-2nd, and 3rd-5th Grade. Our small groups are determined by grade and sometimes by gender.

The family room has a play area, a designated place for nursing mothers, and a livestream connection to the service. It is open but not staffed during all services (Saturday 5pm, Sundays 8am, and Sundays 10am).

Check-In & Check-Out

When you come for the 10:00am service, you can check in your family at the table right by the door! You can drop off your little ones (6 weeks-3 years) in the Nursery before worship. Then, you can head into worship together: your 3K-5th Grade child(ren) will be dismissed to head upstairs at the beginning of the sermon. Ensure you still have your security tag so you can pick up your child(ren) after worship concludes.

  • We have a "fast pass" lane to our check-in system! On Sunday mornings, log into the church center app, click Check-Ins, click JAM/Thrive, and then click the child(ren) you would like to check in for that day. You can also edit a person's profile if something needs to be corrected! The app will display a QR code that you can scan once you arrive. Once scanned, your child(ren)'s name tag and security code will print automatically - no need to touch a computer at all!    
  • Our east and west 2nd-floor doors both have check-out stations. You will need to have your printed security code or digital code (available if you checked in via the app). Check out is simple - just scan the barcode on the security tag to make sure your children get checked out of the system. This way, we ensure that every child goes home with the correct adult!    
  • Older siblings cannot pick up younger siblings - unless they are old enough to have a driver's license. If you happen to lose your printed security code, you will have to show a picture ID to verify that you are authorized to pick up that child.

Services typically last 70 minutes. We understand that people are busy, but we also greatly desire to spend time in worship, in the Word, in ministry, and in fellowship.

Children's Ministry is only offered during the Sunday 10:00am service.

Our Elders will open the door for you on the left-hand side of the building. Our Family Check-In Area is a table directly to your right upon entering. A team member in a blue polo will be there to walk you through the process.

If your child is 6 weeks-3 years old, they can spend the entire service in our Nursery area upstairs (please use the doorbell on the right side of the upstairs door to alert our staff so they can open the door for you). 

If your child is 3K-5th Grade, we invite you to worship together during the majority of our service (including communion). At the time of the sermon, children will be dismissed to walk upstairs with their leaders for a time of large group teaching, small group discussion full of games, crafts, Bible stories, and fun! We currently adapt Grow Curriculum for this time together.

The saying “It takes a village” is certainly true, especially when it comes to raising children up in the faith. Join us on Mondays at 8:15am to worship, chat, & play together. We will meeting the 3K room at the Kenwood Campus (N87W16173 Kenwood Blvd). Bring your littles (5k & under) and let’s build our village!

Club 35 (3rd - 5th Grade) takes place on select Sundays from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. This is our elementary-aged youth group for discipleship, small groups, games, and fellowship.

Our Family Ministry Action Team prepares take-home family discipleship kits for Christmas, Lent, and Summer.
